Head to the market’s east for a more traditional Indonesian experience, where you’ll find locals buying fresh produce and groceries. Ubud Art Market is in the center of Ubud, which is in Central Bali. It’s a short walk from most hotels, resorts, restaurants, and attractions in Ubud.
Ubud Palace
Ubud is home to many historical museums and galleries, unique traditions, and handmade handicrafts. One of the places you need to make a stop when traveling in Ubud is Ubud Palace, also known as Puri Saren Agung. Located in the heart of downtown Ubud, this modest palace has been the home of Ubud’s royal family since the late 19th century and has witnessed the triumph of the Kingdom of Ubud. This palace is now an important historical landmark in Bali and functions as a museum and center of Bali's traditional arts.
Saraswati Temple
Pura Taman Saraswati Temple Ubud, officially Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati, also known as the Ubud Water Palace, is one of the most famous temples in Ubud. As you know, the temple is a Hindu holy place in Bali, and the Saraswati temple is one of them. This temple is according to its name, the place of worship of Goddess Saraswati (Goddess of Knowledge). Pura Taman Saraswati tourist attraction is one of the popular tourist attractions in Ubud it is located in the central areas of Ubud and the location of the temple is very easy to access from Jalan Kajeng, which is adjacent to Jalan Raya Ubud. but the exact location is behind Café Lotus Ubud.
Monkey Forest
Ubud Monkey Forest also called the Sacred Wenara Wana Mandala is a nature reserve area as well as a temple complex located in Ubud, Bali. This place is one of the popular tourist destinations in Ubud and is often visited by more than 10,000 tourists every month. This area is home to around 340 Macaca fascicularis, better known as long-tailed macaques. This herd of monkeys is divided into four groups, each of which occupies a different area in the forest.

On Coffee Plantations, civets eat the ripest coffee cherries and through a digestive process, the beans are separated from the fruit and fermented. Elephant Park
Initiated in 1997 and set within the misty hinterlands of Ubud, our park was created in response to the devastating situation in Sumatra where rampant deforestation and poaching have dwindled the native elephant population. Our multi-award-winning park is Bali’s only dedicated elephant rescue facility and is home to Bali’s largest herd of critically endangered Sumatran elephants, 6 of which were born here. The park provides guests with the rare opportunity to interact and learn about these gentle giants while giving our healthy herd a comfortable and safe environment to call home. The park is set within 4.5 hectares and has been carefully landscaped to mimic the original habitat of our elephant’s native home in Sumatra. The location in central Bali was also chosen for its cooler climate and lush environment, which helps to keep the herd cool and comfortable in this tranquil landscape.

We had a great experience with Adrian Tours. Adrian was very communicative, helpful and always gave fair, honest prices. He was happy to help us with any trip we wanted to take. We originally booked one of his drivers for an airport transport and then continued to hire car driver and scooter driver services throughout our six-week stay. All of his cars were tidy, had AC and were well kept. The scooters were equipped with well fitting helmets. They even let us borrow their umbrella for the duration of our stay. The drivers were amazing - punctual, friendly, helpful and were happy to follow our lead (we have a toddler so sometimes had specific requests). Big thanks to our cat drivers Nando, Wayan Madya and Wayan Kiki as well as our scooter drivers Mike and Galang. I highly recommend Adrian Tours to book your drivers through during your stay in Bali. We will definitely use their services again for future

Adrian helping me plan out all the details of my trip before arrival, including prices. As we progressed through my trip the drivers were very willing to adapt the schedule as timing and energy levels changed. My favorite driver was Rofi who was with me most of the trip. There were some very long days as I was moving around the island and he was great at being aware of when I was talkative and when I just needed quiet. I can recommend Putu we learnt a lot about Balinese culture, if you are interested in how to cook Balinese food he does cooking classes and also if you are in a villa he will come and cook for you. Wr had the pleasure of utilising Adrian's Bali Tours just last week, whilst on our very first family holiday to Bali.
