Monkey Forest
Ubud Monkey Forest also called the Sacred Wenara Wana Mandala is a nature reserve area as well as a temple complex located in Ubud, Bali. This place is one of the popular tourist destinations in Ubud and is often visited by more than 10,000 tourists every month. This area is home to around 340 Macaca fascicularis, better known as long-tailed macaques. This herd of monkeys is divided into four groups, each of which occupies a different area in the forest.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace is about 9 km from Ubud Center or about 20 minutes drive by car. A series of rice paddies located close to Ubud is famous for its terraced layout. This is a traditional Balinese irrigation system known as subak. Positioned in a valley the Tegalalang rice terraces offer extremely scenic lookouts over the rice fields and surrounding green landscape. The Tirta Empul Temple includes shrines to Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, as well as one for Indra and Mount Batur. It is considered one of the five most holy temples in all of Bali and is considered one of the holiest water sources in Bali. You can also find other holy water temples in Bali such as Pura Ulun Danu at Lake Beratan, Pura Tirta Tawar at Gianyar, Pura Tirta Harum at Bangli, Pura Tirta Taman Mumbul at Badung, many more.
Tegenungan Waterfall

Tegenungan Waterfall is a waterfall located in Kemenuh Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, 30 km from Denpasar City. This waterfall has a height of 15 meters. Even though it is not very high, the water flow is very heavy. The water is also clean and clear. This waterfall comes from the Tukad Petanu River. This place is often used to do extreme things, such as jumping from the top of a waterfall.

If you are looking for a driver while in Bali I found Adrian Bali Tours to be the best, extremely friendly and easy to communicate with, they helped us with finding the tours we were wanting to go on, they would pick us directly up from our villa. I also ended up booking our airport drop off as well because the driver I organised who belonged to the villa we stayed in never showed up when we first arrived, so was also needing a reliable driver! I also loved the fact that they would also confirm the morning of our pick up too.. My favourite driver was Putu, he was only 24yrs old, great English and made our days so much more fun!
