Monkey Forest
Ubud Monkey Forest also called the Sacred Wenara Wana Mandala is a nature reserve area as well as a temple complex located in Ubud, Bali. This place is one of the popular tourist destinations in Ubud and is often visited by more than 10,000 tourists every month. This area is home to around 340 Macaca fascicularis, better known as long-tailed macaques. This herd of monkeys is divided into four groups, each of which occupies a different area in the forest.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace is about 9 km from Ubud Center or about 20 minutes drive by car. A series of rice paddies located close to Ubud is famous for its terraced layout. This is a traditional Balinese irrigation system known as subak. Positioned in a valley the Tegalalang rice terraces offer extremely scenic lookouts over the rice fields and surrounding green landscape. Tirta Empul is dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu God of water. In the Balinese language, Tirta Empul loosely translated means water gushing from the earth, and for this reason, Tirta Empul is regarded as a holy spring. The Tirta Empul Temple includes shrines to Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, as well as one for Indra and Mount Batur. It is considered one of the five most holy temples in all of Bali and is considered one of the holiest water sources in Bali. You can also find other holy water temples in Bali such as Pura Ulun Danu at Lake Beratan, Pura Tirta Tawar at Gianyar, Pura Tirta Harum at Bangli, Pura Tirta Taman Mumbul at Badung, many more.
Tegenungan Waterfall

The trees and bushes that grow around it add to the natural panorama. Could there be a place like that in the world? Yes! That is Tegenungan Waterfall. Tegenungan Waterfall is a waterfall located in Kemenuh Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, 30 km from Denpasar City. This waterfall has a height of 15 meters. Even though it is not very high, the water flow is very heavy. The water is also clean and clear. This waterfall comes from the Tukad Petanu River. This place is often used to do extreme things, such as jumping from the top of a waterfall.

We had a great experience with Adrian Tours. Adrian was very communicative, helpful and always gave fair, honest prices. He was happy to help us with any trip we wanted to take. We originally booked one of his drivers for an airport transport and then continued to hire car driver and scooter driver services throughout our six-week stay. All of his cars were tidy, had AC and were well kept. The scooters were equipped with well fitting helmets. They even let us borrow their umbrella for the duration of our stay. The drivers were amazing - punctual, friendly, helpful and were happy to follow our lead (we have a toddler so sometimes had specific requests). Big thanks to our cat drivers Nando, Wayan Madya and Wayan Kiki as well as our scooter drivers Mike and Galang. I highly recommend Adrian Tours to book your drivers through during your stay in Bali. Adrian helping me plan out all the details of my trip before arrival, including prices. As we progressed through my trip the drivers were very willing to adapt the schedule as timing and energy levels changed. My favorite driver was Rofi who was with me most of the trip. There were some very long days as I was moving around the island and he was great at being aware of when I was talkative and when I just needed quiet.
